Toufiq M Seraj laid to rest

Toufiq M Seraj, former president of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), was laid to rest at Banani Graveyard in the city on Monday.

Earlier, his Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the city's Azad Mosque after Asr prayers.

REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin along its other leaders and people from all walks of life attended the Namaz-e-Janaza, said a press release.

Toufiq, who was the founding managing director of real estate company Sheltech (Pvt.) Limited, passed away on a Qatar-bound flight from Dhaka in the early hours on Friday last.

He left behind his mother, wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
