Tanzir Fahim Jumma (Ovi), eldest son of Sazzatuz Jumma, founder chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited, died after being caught in a quicksand on the Fort Lauderdale sea beach near Miami in the USA on April 13. He was 29.
Ovi, who obtained degrees in management and marketing from a US university, was employed at an investment firm as senior executive.
His body is due to be brought to Bangladesh on April 21 for burial.
Meanwhile, Shahjalal Islami Bank authorities have expressed deep shock at the death of Ovi.
