COMILLA, Feb 17 (UNB): Rail communications on three routes were suspended for over 11 hours since Saturday night as a goods train derailed at Gunabati station in Chouddagram Upazila here.
Railway sources said five bogies of Dhaka-bound 803 no. goods train from Chittagong veered off the track soon after it reached the station at about 11:00 pm halting rail communication on the three routes. Several inter-city trains got stranded at different stations on Dhaka-Chittagong, Sylhet-Chittagong and Chittagong-Chandpur routes.
