GOPALGANJ, July 19: A seven-day Tree Fair-2010 has been inaugurated at Gopalganj Shilpakala Academy ground Sunday.
District administration, Department of Agriculture Extension and Forest Department, Gopalganj have jointly organised the seven-day fair.
Commissioner of Dhaka Division Md Mahinuddin Abdullah inaugurated the fair as the chief guest while Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Yousuf Harun presided over it.
Superintendent of Police Md Abdul Quddus Amin and President of the district Awami League (AL) Mohammad Ali Khan Abu Mia were present at the inaugural function as the special guests.
Deputy Director of the DAE, Gopalganj Biplob Kumar Saha delivered welcome address.
