Two arrested over robbery bid in city

Police have arrested two persons over a robbery attempt in Dhaka's Rupnagar area, reports UNB.
The arrestees are Sazzad Hossain Sagar (28) and Shamim Fakir (26).
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive behind the Rupnagar Housing Jam-e-Mosque and arrested them while they were preparing to commit a robbery on Friday night.
Police also seized two sharp weapons from their possession.
