Two coffee shop staffers on remand over assaulting girl

A Dhaka court placed the manager and another employee of Apon Coffee House in the capital's Khilgaon area on a one-day remand each in connection with the assault of a girl, report agencies.

Those who were put on reman are manager Al Amin and staff Shuvo Sutradhar.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Rakibul Hasan passed the order on Tuesday when Sub-Inspector Md. Mohsin of Rampura Police Station, also the investigating officer of the case, produced them before the court seeking a five-day remand for interrogation.
