CHATTOGRAM, Apr 22: Two students from the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) were killed in a road accident at Kaptai Selina Quader Chowdhury College area in Chattogram around 4 pm today.
The victims have been identified as Shanto Saha and Taufiq Hossain. Shanto Saha was a student of 20th batch of Civil Engineering Department and the son of Kajal Saha of Narsingdi.
Taufiq Hossain was from 21st batch student of the same department and the son of Mohammad Delwar of New College Road, Sudharam, Noakhali.
The students were on a motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding bus on the Chattogram-Kaptai road.
Deputy Director (Public Relations) of CUET Fazlur Rahman said, "the body of Shanto Saha is at Chittagong Medical College Hospital while Taufiq's body at Evercare Hospital.
The bodies will be handed over to family after legal process, he said.
