Two day laborers died from electrocution at Bijoy Sarani area under Kafrul thana in the city on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman (38) and Abbas (31).
Police said Mizanur and Abbas got electric shock when they came in contact with a live electric wire while they were re-fixing a billboard damaged by storm in the area around 1:45am and died on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
