Two die in Cox’s Bazar clash over land dispute

COX'S BAZAR, Feb 23 (UNB): At least two people were killed and eight others injured by bullet in a clash between two groups over a disputed land at Bilhachua in Pekua Upazila in the district on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Nezam Uddin, son of late Abdur Rahman and Azizul Haque of Bilhachua area.

Additional Police Superintendent Iqbal Hossain said they recovered two bodies from the spot after the clash.

Besides, police recovered seven firearms and arrested eight people from the spot.
