Two held for raping Ctg RMG worker

CHITTAGONG, July 17 (UNB): The police arrested two youths for allegedly violating a female garment worker in CRB area of the city Wednesday night.

The arrested persons were identified as Ismail (23), son of Yunus Mia and Mamun (25), son of late Hafizuddin.

Nezamuddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali thana, said when the girl went to visit a local hillock along with her friend Wednesday afternoon, a gang of local youths forcibly took her to an isolated corner of the hillock and violated her.

Later, police arrested Ismail and Mamun with the help of locals for their involvement in the incident.
