Two human traffickers held

KHULNA, Nov 9 (UNB): Police, in a drive Monday morning, arrested two women of a human trafficking gang at city's Rupsa area.
The arrestees are Molly (40), resident of the city's Nirala area and Sahid (37), wife of Abdus Sattar, labourer of Mongla port and resident of Rupsa area.
Police said the two women collected one Marjina (20), in the name of giving good job in India and sold her to one Khokan of Benapole for Tk 10,000.
But Marjina managed to escape from Benapole and informed the police. Later, police conducted the drive in the city and arrested the two women at about 10am.
