Two injured as train hits car in city

Two persons were injured when a train rammed a private car and a rickshaw on Khilgaon rail crossing in the city Thursday morning, report agencies.

The accident occurred when a commuter train hit a private car and a rickshaw around 10.30am, as car came in front of the train after breaking through the gates on railway crossing, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Abdul Kuddus of GRP told BSS.

Drivers of both the car and rickshaw suffered minor injuries in the accident, he said, adding that the car was badly damaged.
