Two more students, injured in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College at Diabari in the capital's Uttara area, have been released from hospital after weeks of treatment, reports UNB.
Hafsa Khan, 11, a fourth grader, and Md Rayan, 14, an eighth grader, were discharged from the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS) on Saturday afternoon, said Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon at the institute.
"Both Hafsa and Rayan sustained 22 per cent flame burns in the crash. They have now recovered enough to return home. Currently, 11 patients are admitted. So far, 25 have been discharged in stable condition, while 20 others have died," Dr Shawon said.
