UAE envoy calls on Speaker

United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador in Bangladesh Saed Mohamed Al Mheiri called on Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter's office in the city on Tuesday, reports BSS.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to bilateral interests, including parliamentary activities, trade and manpower export.The Speaker urged the Gulf state envoy to take more manpower from Bangladesh during the meeting.

Dr Chaudhury also called upon the UAE to be on Bangladesh's side and continuing its support in peaceful and sustainable repatriation of Rohingyas.
