Uddipan launches TVET project in Ctg

Uddipan, a development organisation, launched a technical and vocational education and training (TVET) project in Chittagong recently.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Ali Ahmed on behalf of CCC Mayor M Monjur Alam inaugurated the project 'Empowering Vulnerable Youngsters of Port City Chittagong in Bangladesh'.

Country Director of Terre des Hommes-Netherlands Mahamudul Kabir was present as the guest of honour at the inaugural function while CCC Commissioner Mahabubul Alam attended it as the special guest.

Chairperson of Uddipan Shahid Hossain Talukder presided over the launching ceremony, attended by Executive Director and CEO of Uddipan Md Emranul Huq Chowdhury, Principal of Bangladesh-Korea Technical Training Centre (BKTTC) Md Nazrul Islam, Manager of Well Group Md Mohibullah and owner of Haque Fan Industry MA Malek.

The development organisation in collaboration with Terre des Hommes-Netherlands is implementing the project.
