UGC holds workshop on institutional innovation

A day-long workshop on enhancement of institutional innovation was held on the premises of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the city on Sunday.

The event was organised by the UGC aiming to grow technical know-how among its staff as well as university officials so they can provide services efficiently and effectively.

UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan graced the occasion as the chief guest while its member Professor Md Akhtar Hossain was in the chair.

UGC member Professor Dil Afroza Begum delivered speech as the special guest.

Highlighting the importance of innovation, the UGC chairman said it is needed to make the activities of an organisation transparent, dynamic and easier.

He called upon the UGC and university officials to enhance their skills and discharge their duties by using digital technology.

High officials of UGC, a2i and Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division were also present.
