A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between United International University (UIU) and BRAC University (BRACU) at the UIU campus in the capital recently to promote research collaboration, according to a statement.
BRAC University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr Syed Ferhat Anwar, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Arshad Mahmud Chowdhury, and Treasurer Ariful Islam were present on the occasion.
Also in attendance were UIU Board of Trustees Chairman Hasan Mahmood Raja, UIU VC Prof. Dr Md Abul Kashem Mia, Professor Emeritus Dr M. Rezwan Khan, Executive Director of the Institute of Advanced Research (IAR) and former VC of UIU.
The VCs of UIU and BRAC University signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Under the agreement, the MoU will support collaborative research initiatives, high-quality publications in reputed journals, and the development of cooperative research partnerships between the two universities.
