The British High Commission in Dhaka warned the Bangladeshi students of misleading advice on tuberculosis (TB) tests by several agents to have UK visas.
"An applicant must undergo a TB test and obtain a medical clearance certificate from a health centre operated by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to have a UK visa," a press release issued by British High Commission in Dhaka said Sunday.
The High Commission is aware that some agents are these days providing misleading advice on TB tests, but the UK Visa Services will never accept a TB certificate from another source except the IOM, the press release said.
The IOM and the UK Visa Services are looking at ways to offer additional appointments, but the applicants are making the current delays worse not attending the appointments they booked earlier, the High Commission said.
