Universities should form committee to curb sexual harassment

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Apr 01: Speakers at a meeting on 'Anti Sexual Harassment Policy' Tuesday urged university authorities to form a committee to curb sexual harassment of and persecution against women in higher educational institutions. The programme was held on Rajshahi University (RU) campus organised by RU Women Parishad (RUWP).
Speakers also said the society would face a crisis if sexual harassment against women was not stopped immediately.
RUWP Secretary Dr Mahbuba Kaniz Keya presented the keynote.
