The University of Development Alternative (UODA) organised a seminar on 'Strategic Manpower Training and Development: Indispensable for Achieving Organisational Goal' at its auditorium at Dhanmondi in the city on Friday, says a press release.
Prof Dr Ahmadullah Miah, pro-vice chancellor of the university, inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest.
Prof Shahjahan Ahmed Bikash, chairperson of Faculty of Fine Arts, attended the programme as the special guest while Assistant Professor of Faculty of Business Administration Abdullah-Hil Muntakim was main discussant in the seminar.
Muntakim discussed 'the role of strategic leadership in the 21st century under global HR trends and organisational excellence' in global context.
Manager of Four Points Sheraton Sheikh Siddiqe, senior administrative officer of Dhaka FM(90.4) Prasad Roy, UODA faculty member Mostofa Kamal and Mahmudual Kabir were present as the guest speakers.
