Upazila chairmen take oath

KHULNA, Feb 26 (BSS): Some 75 newly elected upazila chairmen, vice- chairmen and female vice-chairmen of 25 upazilas of Khulna, Bagerhat and Satkhira districts Thursday took oath at a simple ceremony in the conference room of divisional commissioner's office here.

Divisional Commissioner Md Younusur Rahman administered the oath of office to the public representatives separately.

Deputy commissioner of Khulna NM Ziaul Alam, deputy commissioner of Bagerhat Aprup Chandra, DIG Khulna range Md. Asaduzzaman Mia, SP Khulan Belalur Rahman and Director Local Government SM Rais Uddin Ahmed were present at the ceremony.
