The US Embassy in Dhaka has congratulated Bangladesh-born Sakib Jamal for making it to Forbes' prestigious 30 Under 30 List 2024 for North America, reports UNB.
"Big congrats to Bangladeshi-born Sakib Jamal ... .well done," said the US Embassy in a message shared from its verified Facebook page on Monday.
His initiative to crowd-source a book targeting junior investors, with the proceeds earmarked for supporting educational initiatives for school children in Bangladesh is inspiring, the message reads.
The first employee at Crossbeam Ventures, Sakib Jamal helped it reach $280 million in assets across two core funds since joining in 2020.
He has made nine investments for the firm and is the main contact for 14 others.
Jamal received his second promotion, to vice president, in June 2023.
