The American embassy in Dhaka, including its consular section,will remain closed on Sunday on the occasion of Columbus Day, an American holiday, report agencies.
The American Center with the Archer K. Blood American Center Library and the EducationUSA Student Advising Center will also remain closed on the day.
However, emergency services for American citizens will be available (call 885-5500 and ask for the duty officer), said a press release on Thursday.
