US embassy to remain closed on March 26

The United States Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on March 26 (Wednesday), on the occasion of Independence Day.
The Consular Section, the American Centre's Archer K Blood American Centre Library and the Education USA Student Advising Centre, will also remain closed on the occasion, an embassy press release said Monday.
However, emergency services for American citizens will be available, and they can call 885-5500 for the duty officer.
