US hospital to assist BD in cancer treatment

The Massachusetts General Hospital based in Boston of the United States of America will help Bangladesh develop expertise in nursing and uterus cancer treatment, reports BSS.

"This was decided by the hospital authorities after a request was made by the Bangladesh Health and Family Affairs Minister Mohammad Nasim," Mr Nasim told the news agency by telephone Tuesday. He is currently visiting there.

He also thanked the hospital for assisting Bangladesh earlier in successfully transplanting bone marrow.

Later, he visited the Hospital and talked to Bangladeshi expatriates.
