Valuables looted from passengers of 20 buses

SYLHET, Sept 28 (UNB): Robbers injured 15 persons and looted valuables from the passengers of some 20 buses by felling trees on Kamalganj-Sreemangal highway at Janokichhara in Moulvibazar district Friday night.
Witnesses said the bandits numbering 20/25 barricaded the road at dead of night and looted cash, mobile phone sets and gold ornaments from the passengers.
The robbers also beat and stabbed 15 passengers indiscriminately when they tried to resist them. They were admitted to a local hospital. On information, police visited the spot.
