Robbers looted valuables, worth about Tk 0.30 million from the house of a former civil officer of Air Force at East Manikdi in city's Cantonment area early Friday, reports UNB.
Police said a gang of robbers entered the house of Nurul Islam at 28/1, East Manikdi by breaking window grills and held the inmates hostage at gun point.
