Development of the country's veterinary sector can meet the growing need for nutrition and contribute to achieving desired economic progress, said Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdul Latif Biswas Tuesday.
"If people associated with the veterinary, fisheries and livestock sectors work hard, it would attain a high profitable level like agriculture and fulfill the dream of Vision-2021," said the minister while addressing a workshop in the city.
Bangladesh Veterinary Council organised the workshop styled 'Strengthening of Veterinary Service to Achieve Vision 2021' with Md Sharful Alam, secretary, Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock, in the chair.
