The visiting Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang left Dhaka for Hanoi on Tuesday afternoon, reports BSS.
He arrived in Dhaka on Sunday on a three-day state visit.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali saw the Vietnamese President off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 3:00 pm. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak, among others, was present at the airport.
During his three-day visit to Bangladesh, the Vietnamese President held a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and joined a banquet hosted by President Abdul Hamid.
Quang also paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 1971 Liberation War Martyrs by placing wreaths at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi and National Memorial at Savar.
