Warid Telecom Thursday handed over mobile handsets to winners of its gratification campaign for the prepaid Zem subscribers.
Muneer Farooqui, CEO of Warid Telecom, along with other officials of the company, gave away handsets and gift-hampers to the winners at a ceremony at Warid Telecom office at Banani in the city.
Warid Telecom has started the campaign styled as Everyday Everyone is a Winner from June 30. According to the offer, everyday throughout the campaign the highest user of Zem connection will win a Sony Ericsson W200i handset. The winners who received the handset are Sabbir Younus and Md. Waliul Hoque.
Congratulating the winners, Muneer Farooqui said, "We shall always try to exceed customers' expectation by bringing in innovative product and service solutions with technological edge.
"Warid has brought in the most modern NGN (Next Generation Network) Technology to Bangladesh. We have already expanded our network to 35 districts covering all major cities and highways in the country, and achieved over 0.5 million customers already.'
Since June 30, Warid Telecom has been running Everyday Everyone as a Winner program offering lucrative incentives for users of its prepaid package Zem on daily basis. Zem users can get bonus talktime and win attractive prizes everyday. According to the offer, everyday the highest user of Zem connection will win a Sony Ericsson W200i handset.
Everyday 10 subscribers who will make 10 or more calls a day may be rewarded with Tk 500 bonus talktime. Everyday 500 subscribers making five calls may avail Tk 200 bonus talktime and 1000 subscribers making even a single call may be rewarded with Tk 100 bonus talktime.
The subscribers will also enjoy guaranteed instant talktime bonuses. Subscribers will get cash back of Tk 1 for five minutes usage, for 10 minutes the cash back is Tk 3, for 20 minutes the bonus is Tk 6 and for 30 minutes the cash back is Tk 11. These offers are valid till further announcement.
Apart from all standard facilities and Value Added Services (VAS), all Zem connections are also powered with ISD and BTTB incoming and outgoing facilities.
