Watercolour art exhibition begins in city

Artist Alkesh Ghosh, UNB Editor-in-Chief Enayetullah Khan, Cosmos Gallery Director Tehmina Enayet, South Korean Ambassador Lee Yun-Young, artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, artist Biren Shome are seen at a watercolour art exhibition that began at Gallery Cosm

A 10-day exhibition of watercolour paintings, titled "Waves of Colour", began in the city Friday, reports UNB.

South Korean Ambassador in Bangladesh Lee Yun-Young inaugurated the exhibition at Gallery Cosmos-2 at Mohakhali DOHS in the city.

Chairman of Gallery Cosmos and Cosmos Atelier 71 Enayetuallah Khan, Cosmos Gallery Director Tehmina Enayet and renowned artists Samarjit Roy Chowdhury and Mustafa Monwar were also present on the occasion.

The South Korean envoy said all the artworks displayed in the show are really impressive, and appreciated the Cosmos Gallery for its initiative to promote young artists.

Enayetullah Khan urged the South Korean envoy to promote Bangladeshi art and cultural sector.

Mr Khan also assured the artists who participated in the exhibition of providing all possible cooperation from the Gallery Cosmos in flourishing their talents.
