Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna,Sylhet, Barisal and Chittagong divisions today (Friday).

Moderately heavy to heavy falls are also likely at places over the country, Met Office said.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's highest temperature of 36.8 degrees Celsius was recorded Thursday in Rajshahi and the lowest of 25.4 degrees in Tangail and Sandwip.

The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka Thursday was 34.7 degrees Celsius while the lowest recorded was 28.4 degrees.
