Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Barishal division with hails at isolated places in the next 24 hours starting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, according to Met office.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's highest temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius in Chandpur of Chattogram on Tuesday and the lowest was 19.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 23.34 degrees Celsius.

The sun sets in the city at 6.29 pm today (Wednesday) and will rise at 5:22 am tomorrow (Thursday).
