Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions until 6:00 pm today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

It may rain at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka & Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at isolated places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and minimum was 24.7 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 27 degrees.
