Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country. The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 36.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and minimum was 18.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 25.0 degrees.
