Weather may remain dry over the country in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Thursday), reports UNB.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night until morning, the Met Office said.

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Panchagarh, Kurigram, Dinajpur, Sayedpur, Nilphamari, Jessore and Srimangal and it may abate.

Night and day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius over the country.

The country's highest temperature 28.5 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Khepupara and the lowest 08.5 degrees in Srimangal.
