Weather may remain dry with temporary and partly cloudy sky over the country today (Wednesday), according to a weather forecast by the Met Office.

Light fog may also occur at places over northern part and river basins of the country during late night to early morning, it said, adding that night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

On Tuesday, maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka was 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 21 degrees while the country's highest temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in both Sitakunda and Cox's Bazar.

The sun sets in Dhaka at 05:14pm today (Wednesday) and will rise at 06:11am tomorrow (Thursday).
