Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Cumilla in the next 24 hours starting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, according to Met office.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. The country's highest temperature was recorded at 39.6 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi Tuesday and the lowest was 20.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 37.9 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 27.1 degrees Celsius.
