Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Thursday), reports UNB.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Faridpur, Rajshahi, Mongla, Satkhira, Chudanga and Jashore.
Day temperature may rise slightly over northern part of the country, said the Met Office.
The country's highest temperature 36.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Mongla and the lowest 22.8 degrees in Kumarkhali.
