Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram, Sylhet and Barishal divisions, reports UNB.
It may also occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Dhaka and Khulna divisions in next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Thursday).
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the Met Office said.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Chattogram, Rangamati, Cumilla, Chandpur, M.Court, Feni, Khulna, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanaga, Bhola and Patuakhali and it may abate.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The country's highest temperature 37.3 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Bhola and the lowest 24.5 degrees in Rangamati.
