Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions until 6:00 pm today (Friday), according to Met office.

The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and minimum was 20 Celsius in Sylhet.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26.1 degrees.
