Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and minimum was 21.6 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius on Friday and the lowest was 25.5 degrees.
