Light to moderate rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at many places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum was 20.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 25.6 degrees.
