Rain or thunder showers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 37.7 degrees Celsius at Madaripur and Gopalgon and minimum was 21.8 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 28.2 degrees.
