Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions until 6:00pm today (Thursday), according to Met office.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Satkhira, Jashore and Pabna and it may continue.

The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius in Jashore and minimum was 22.0 Celsius in Netrakona of Mymensingh.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28.2 degrees.
