Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at isolated places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country

The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 36.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 25.0 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Monday and the lowest was 27.7 degrees.
