Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 376.50 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 25.0 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 26.85 degrees.
