Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Chattogram division with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 36.9 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 24.5 degrees Celsius in Rangamati and Chuadanga respectively.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 25.7 degrees.
