Light to moderate rain/thunder shower accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Khulna, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Sayedpu while the lowest temperature at 23.8 degrees at Nikli.
