Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the riverbasins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.

Mild cold wave may sweep over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the districts of Faridpur, Madaripur, Manikgonj, Moulvibazar, Cumilla, Feni, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Barishal and Bhola.

Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius in Teknaf while the lowest temperature at 08.0 degrees in Dinajpur. The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 23.4 degrees Celsius on Friday and the lowest was 11.8 degrees.
